The New Year and proof that I think entirely too much!

I am cute, funny, smart, proud, ambitious and full of life (except if you wake me up to early in the morning). I try to finish everything I start and I do succeed-- most of the time, anyways! I am a writer by choice. I use my work as an outlet for life's curves that get thrown my way. And boy have I had some doozies! I recently became a Certified Pharmacy Technician. I am quite proud of that along with the stellar score I received on the test! Now all I need is a job... Stupid experience requirement! How am I supposed to get experience if I cannot get a job so I can work in the field?? Sheesh!

I am married; sometimes happily and other times not so much. :) My SO is great though. He has really supported me (monetarily and emotionally) through so many things and I am thankful every day that we found each other. Signs from Fate and the universe through the years have given me hope for the future. Yes, we have many things that still need to be re-vamped (except for old movies that keep getting re-done) as a country, but I believe the American Spirit will get us through these tough times. I am very opinionated, so if this bothers you, well than don't read it! I will not censor what I say to sate your desire for political correctness. I very much believe in the Bill of Rights and the Constitution. These laws have worked for over two centuries and were developed during a time of oppression, hatred and naiveté-- but there is always Hope (thanks Pandora!). The good must be accepted with the bad in order to learn the lessons we are supposed to know to get through life. I believe that, if you do not know or understand something, that you should educate yourself. There is no reason, with the resources available today, that you should not be well informed on the decisions you make. So admit and claim your mistakes, learn from them and move on. Life is too short to stay firmly implanted in the past when there are so many things to look forward to in the future!

I shall get down off of my soap box (for now). But, I hope that you are true to yourself by being who you actually are rather what society, as a whole, requires you to be. Always follow your heart and your dreams. And stay passionate. It is when we are no longer full of love, passion and hope that we truly stop living.

Oh! And don't forget that life really IS a box of chocolates! Yes, you never know what you are going to get but that does not mean you should not at least bite take a bite to see if you like it..... Unfortunately though, you cannot put life back into the box if it tastes bad. With life, once the cat is out of the bag (or the chocolate out of the box), you cannot put it back in without some serious effort! Besides, who does not like chocolate anyways?????

Good night, my friends and may your dreams be full of love, passion and hope. And the occasional zombie!

~ME
